LITTLE ROCK, ARK., September 5, 2024 — Community oncology practice Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute, a partner practice of American Oncology Network (AON) (OTCQX: AONC), is pleased to welcome Board-certified medical oncologist Brad Baltz, MD, to its physician care team. He will work alongside Drs. Timothy Webb, Robert Muldoon, Stephen “Fred” Divers, Lynn Cleveland, Lingyi Chen, Sunil Kakadia, Kristen Sager, and Jim Chen.

Dr. Baltz is Board-certified in medical oncology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine and completed an internship, residency, and a fellowship in hematology-oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

“I am excited to join the physician team at Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute,” said Dr. Baltz. “Genesis is known for providing innovative and exceptional patient-centered care – the kind that I pride myself on delivering, so it was an easy decision to join.”

With the addition of Dr. Baltz, Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute has opened a second clinic in Little Rock at 5620 W. Markham St., Little Rock, AR 72205. The new Little Rock clinic has six consult rooms, an onsite lab, and 17 infusion chairs. Both Dr. Baltz and Dr. Chen are now accepting patients there.

The Genesis team now includes nine medical oncologists and seven advanced practice providers across 12 Arkansas locations, including the original Little Rock clinic where Dr. Kakadia is accepting patients at 1300 Centerview Dr., Little Rock, AR 72211. The practice is committed to providing the community with innovative cancer care that is delivered holistically based on research and evidence-based medicine. Genesis cancer patients have access to a diverse range of services for diagnosis, treatment, clinical trials, survivorship, and patient support that are close to home, eliminating the need to travel long distances to receive care.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Baltz to Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute,” said Genesis medical oncologist Dr. Timothy Webb. “He is extraordinarily knowledgeable and committed to delivering top-notch patient-first care, which will further enhance our reputation for delivering an exceptional patient experience. We are looking forward to collaborating with him.”

“On behalf of AON, I am thrilled to welcome Dr. Baltz to Genesis Cancer and Blood Institute and the network,” said Stephen “Fred” Divers, MD, AON’s chief medical officer. “Dr. Baltz has an impressive background, and I am confident that our patients – and our team – will benefit immensely from his expertise and commitment to providing quality, patient-centered care in a community-based setting.”

Dr. Baltz began accepting new patients at the Midtown Little Rock clinic on September 1, 2024.
