Virginia is originally from Longview, Texas, but spent about 10 years in Germany with her family as missionaries to the German people. She has lived in the Hot Springs area with her children and family since 2007. She received an Associate degree in Nursing from National Park College in 2012, a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Arkansas Tech University in 2014, and a Master of Nursing Science degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2018. She has specialized in oncology nursing since 2013 and is an AOCNP (Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner). In addition to her work as a provider to oncology and hematology patients, Virginia is active in several community organizations as a volunteer. She has held committee positions as a member of the Tri-lakes Nurse Practitioner Alliance, Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association, Oncology Nursing Society, Garland County Relay for Life of the American Cancer Society and Princess Nora’s Warrior Foundation.
