Tyler Fugere, MD

Dr. Fugere is a Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist. She earned her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, where she also completed her internal medicine residency and hematology-oncology fellowship. She was drawn to oncology early in her training, inspired by the strength and resilience of her patients.

She is originally from Benton, AR and graduated summa cum laude from Benton High School where she was president of the National Honor Society. Her other awards include National Merit Finalist, Arkansas Governor’s Distinguished Scholar, and AP Scholar with Distinction. She completed her undergraduate degree at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR.

She is married to Brad Fugere, who she met at Benton High School when they were in the marching band together. They have one daughter, Evelyn, and two dogs. They enjoy hiking, camping, and taking road trips to national parks as a family.

She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.

Dr. Fugere is dedicated to providing patient-centered oncology care in the community setting and delivering personalized treatment that meets the unique needs of each individual.
