Lauren is a Board-certified adult gerontology nurse practitioner with a strong background in oncology and complex patient care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and holds a bachelor’s and associate degrees in nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Before joining Genesis Cancer & Blood Institute, Lauren practiced at the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute on the colorectal surgery-oncology team, where she evaluated patients, assisted in treatment planning, performed procedures and coordinated multidisciplinary care. Her experience also includes neurology, cardiology, hospice and primary care settings.
Lauren is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and building strong relationships with her patients and their families. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association.
